I'm really lucky, as I'm playing my favourite tracks in every set and the crowd love it too! So maybe I'm just one of these guys in the crowd after all?

If celebrities are DJing just for attention then I don't think they should be taken seriously. We're here to work!

Time moves on and technology changes, so some DJ skills cannot be assessed [the same way] today as 10 years ago.
Where's the next dance music capital: 
I'm really proud of my country, Ukraine, right now! Not only do we have huge festivals like Global Gathering, but also many great summer beach events around the beautiful Black Sea coastline.

It's been a productive year for young Evgeny Smirnov, aka Omnia. "I've been working in 'fast mode' - a lot of studio work that I had to combine with my gigs," says the rising trance star.

"But this is what I always dreamed of." Speaking of dreams, Omnia fulfilled a lifelong ambition in 2012, with his debut at ASOT (A State Of Trance) 550 in Kiev, also playing Tiësto's Club Life and Global Gathering. A further 2012 highlight was the release of 'The Fusion', with IRA. The anthemic thumper of a track has been echoing through clubs since its release, and shows no signs of stopping yet, rounding off what Omnia describes as "the biggest year ever for me!"
